Camping addon for WoW Forever
WoW Forever adds campfires. Every profession gets a camp item at skill 20, 140 and 300, Cooking builds the fire, and placing a camp item starts a one-hour cooldown.
The ForeverArtisan Camp window (/fa camp) tracks all of it across your professions: what each one can place now, what the next tier needs, when your cooldown is up, and which campfire kits you can learn and light.
What the Camping module does
/fa campForever adds campfires. Every profession gets a camp item at skill 20, 140 and 300, and Cooking builds the fire. The Camp window keeps track of all of it across your professions.
- The camp item each of your professions can place now, and the skill for the next tier
- A Craft button on each camp item opens its profession window on the recipe; it grays out when you're missing materials, and hovering it shows what's missing
- The one-hour cooldown after you place one, with "Camp items are ready again" in chat
- Cooking campfire kits, with the skill to learn each one and the skill to light it
- At a campfire with your cooldown ready and a camp item in your bags, chat reminds you to place it. It never places anything for you
- Turn it off in the
/fapanel like any module
It's new, and your answers shape what comes next. Would you rather have it in its own window or inside each profession's window? When you walk up to a fire, what do you check first?
Same rule as the rest of the addon: it tracks your own camp items, not where other players' fires are.
How camping works in WoW Forever
- Camp items: crafted with your profession and placed at a campfire. ForeverArtisan shows the one each of your professions can place now and the skill the next tier needs.
- Cooldown: after you place one, there's a one-hour wait before you can place another. Chat says "Camp items are ready again" when it's over.
- Campfire kits: Cooking learns a kit at one skill and needs more skill to light it. The Camp window shows both numbers for each kit.
- At a fire: when your cooldown is ready and a camp item is in your bags, chat reminds you to place it. ForeverArtisan never places anything for you.

How long is the camp item cooldown?
One hour after you place a camp item. ForeverArtisan tracks it and says "Camp items are ready again" in chat when it's over.
Why can I learn a campfire kit but not light it?
Cooking needs more skill to light a kit than to learn it. The Camp window lists both skills for each kit.
Does it show where other players' campfires are?
No. Same rule as the rest of the addon: it tracks your own camp items, not where other players' fires are.

Yes. It's free, with no ads and no premium tier, and your data stays in SavedVariables on your own computer. Nothing is sent anywhere.
