Skinning addon for WoW Forever
Skinning has no nodes. The skill a corpse needs comes from the mob's level: skill 1 up to level 10, (level minus 10) times 10 from 11 to 20, and level times 5 above 20.
The ForeverArtisan Skinning module shows that number when you hover a beast, lists the level ranges that still give skill-ups, and logs each mob by name and level. Leatherworking reads the log to point your leather and hides back to where you found them.
What the Skinning module does
/fa skinSkinning works by mob level instead of node type. The skill a corpse needs comes from the mob's level.
- Hover any beast to see the skill it needs and whether it's orange, yellow, green, or gray for you
- Skin next shows the level ranges that still give skill-ups
- The log records each mob's name and level, so it can point you back to specific mobs
- Level guide pairs every mob level from 5 to 60 with the leather it usually drops
Skinning leveling: skill by mob level
The skill a corpse needs comes from the mob's level: 1 for levels 1 to 10, (level − 10) × 10 for levels 11 to 20, and level × 5 above 20. Color bands then work the same as the table at the top.

Skinning questions
What Skinning skill does a mob need in WoW Forever?
Skill 1 for mob levels 1 to 10, (level minus 10) times 10 for levels 11 to 20, and level times 5 above 20. A level 25 beast needs 125. Hover any beast with the module on to see the number and its color for you.
What do I need to skin?
A Skinning Knife in your bags. Hover the beast before you pull it so you know it's skinnable at your skill.
Does it show where every recipe or drop is?
No. ForeverArtisan lists every recipe, but where to get each one comes from your own play: the trainers you meet, what you gather, the recipes you find. It remembers where you've been, not where you're going. Want to look ahead? Crowdsourced sites have that covered.
