Fishing addon for WoW Forever
Leveling Fishing in WoW Forever is a lot of casting, a lure to keep on the pole, and two rank-ups that need more than skill: the Expert book needs character level 20 and Nat Pagle's Artisan quest needs level 35.
The ForeverArtisan Fishing module puts the cast, the lure and the reel-in on one key, logs what every spot gives you, and tells you which level the next rank needs before you make the trip.
What the Fishing module does
/fa fishFishing is the only module that does more than track: it also runs the cast, the lure, and the reel-in, one key press at a time.
- One key casts; if your lure has run out it applies the best lure in your bags first
- Press the same key again to reel in when the bobber splashes
- Swap key trades your pole for your weapons, and the fishing key equips weapons when combat starts
- The "capped" message and the Progress tab name the character level the next rank needs (Expert book: level 20, Artisan quest: level 35) and how many levels you still need
- Skill, pole and swap weapons are saved per character; an alt without Fishing shows "not learned yet". Catch log, goals, cast marker and key bindings are shared by the account
- Catch log by spot with catch rates, skill, and lure; goals count catches since login
- Warns you when your pole is broken or close to it, instead of the game's misleading error
- Cast marker tab: marker tools on top, and the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza countdown, rules and catches underneath
Fishing ranks and where to train
Fishing skill, your pole and your swap weapons are saved per character, so an alt without Fishing shows "not learned yet" (any Fishing trainer teaches it). Your catch log, catch goals, cast marker and key bindings are shared by every character on the account.

A fishing pole at 0 durability still looks equipped, but the game refuses to cast with "Must have a Fishing Pole equipped." Repair it at any vendor with a Repair option.

Expert Fishing is a book from Old Man Heming in Booty Bay, 1 gold, at skill 125, and needs character level 20. Artisan is Nat Pagle's quest in Dustwallow Marsh at skill 225, and needs character level 35. Apprentice and Journeyman come from any Fishing trainer.
Why does the game say "Must have a Fishing Pole equipped" when I have one?
A pole at 0 durability still looks equipped, but the game refuses to cast. Repair it at any vendor with a Repair option. The Fishing module warns you when your pole is broken or close to it.
Does one-key fishing play for me?
No. Every cast and every reel-in is a key press of yours. The key casts, applies the best lure in your bags when the old one runs out, and reels in when you press it again after the splash.
