Install ForeverArtisan

Free, with no premium version. The CurseForge listing goes up during the beta. Until then, installing by hand takes four steps.

Manual install

  1. Close the game

    WoW only finds new addon folders when it starts.

  2. Unzip into your AddOns folder

    During the beta that's World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns. You should see ForeverArtisan_Core plus one folder per profession.

  3. Check the addon list

    On the character screen, click AddOns and make sure the ForeverArtisan entries are checked. Core is required; the professions are optional.

  4. Type /fa

    The hub opens. A one-time beta notice appears a few seconds after your first login.

Good to know

Where your data lives. Logs and settings are saved in WTF\Account\<account>\SavedVariables, one file per module. Skill levels are stored per character.

What the addon automates. One key press does one action, the same as clicking a button yourself. Nothing plays the game for you.

Updating. Replace the folders with the new ones. Your saved data stays put.

Something broke? Turn on error pop-ups with /console scriptErrors 1, then send us a bug report with a screenshot.
