WoW Forever enchanting guide: 1-300

Enchanting puts permanent bonuses on gear, using dust, essences and shards you get by disenchanting items you don't need. It pairs well with Tailoring, which makes cheap gear to disenchant. Kerry's Forever beta enchanter checked the early trainer steps; the rest comes from Forever's game data.
What Forever changed
Forever lists 215 Enchanting recipes, and 63 of them are new to Forever. New in Forever: Dust to Motes, a Novice's Practice Wand, minor Intellect and healing-power bracer enchants, and enchanted items for each class, like Librams, Totems and Idols. About thirty formulas are bought with Merchant's Favor.
How to read the route
Each step is the cheapest recipe that still gives skill-ups at that range. Orange always gives a point, yellow usually does, green rarely does, gray never does. When your recipe turns green before the end of its step, move to the next one. The Colors column shows where each recipe changes.

Enchanting camp items
Enchanting makes three camp items for Forever's campfires: the Enchanted Lute at 20, the Arcane Salvager at 140 and the Arcane Forge at 300. See the professions guide for how Camping works.
Let the addon count it
This route tells you what to make. ForeverArtisan tells you how many. Type a target skill in the Enchanting window and it plans the crafts, counts the in-between materials it will make for you, and builds a shopping list with Auction House prices. It also shows when a trainer you've met has the next recipe.
Questions
Where do I get Enchanting materials?
Disenchant green items you find or make. Strange Dust carries most of the first 175 points; Soul Dust and Vision Dust take over after that.
What's the fastest way to level Enchanting in WoW Forever?
Make the cheapest enchant that's still orange or yellow. Enchant Chest - Inferior Stamina covers 15 to 90 on one Strange Dust each.
Where do I get the next recipe?
The early enchants come from any Enchanting trainer. Past 225 a few come from vendors and drops, and the route notes where.
