WoW Forever first aid guide: 1-300
Checked on the Forever beta, October 10, 2026.
First Aid makes bandages, anti-venoms and, new in Forever, healing potions and poultices. It's a secondary profession, so every character can learn it on top of their two primaries. Kerry's Forever beta characters checked the trainer steps up to 150.
What Forever changed
Forever lists 29 First Aid recipes, and 14 of them are new to Forever. First Aid grew in Forever: healing potions and poultices joined the bandages, and you can start with a Minor Healing Potion. The First Aid Kit is its first camp item. Learn levels past 150 are estimates until checked in game.
How to read the route
Each step is the cheapest recipe that still gives skill-ups at that range. Orange always gives a point, yellow usually does, green rarely does, gray never does. When your recipe turns green before the end of its step, move to the next one. The Colors column shows where each recipe changes.

First Aid camp items
First Aid makes three camp items for Forever's campfires: the First Aid Kit at 20, the Toxin Study at 140 and the Laboratory at 300. See the professions guide for how Camping works.
Let the addon count it
This route tells you what to make. ForeverArtisan tells you how many. Type a target skill in the First Aid window and it plans the crafts, counts the in-between materials it will make for you, and builds a shopping list with Auction House prices. It also shows when a trainer you've met has the next recipe.
Questions
What's the fastest way to level First Aid in WoW Forever?
Bandages from the cloth you loot anyway, plus anti-venoms from spider drops. Switch when a recipe turns green.
Is First Aid worth it?
Yes. It costs only cloth, saves downtime between fights, and its camp item adds Stamina at the fire.
Do I need to train First Aid?
Yes. Journeyman First Aid is learned at 50, and each higher rank raises your cap again.
Enjoy the journey!
